REACH
Onboard Systems Hoist and Winch complies with European REACH Regulations concerning the use and communications of substances in products. To meet these requirements, Onboard Systems Hoist and Winch provides the Safe Use instructions in accordance with REACH Article 33.
REACH – Safe Use Instructions
These instructions apply to articles not intended to release chemical substances, as defined by REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE PARLIAMENT COUNCIL concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACh) and HEALTH and SAFETY EXECUTIVE in Britain (HSE). Theses safe use instructions satisfy the REACh Article 33 duty to communicate information on substances in articles for both the EU and UK regulations.

Duty to communicate information on substances in articles.
Any Supplier of an Article 59(1) in a concentration above .1 % weight by weight (w/w) shall provide the recipient of the article with sufficient information, available to the supplier, to allow safe use of the article including, as a minimum, the name of that substance.
